After working out earlier in the week, this was my first run since coming back from Fuerteventura. Dididn’t feel too bad, but lots of – ahem! – “interval traing”, shall we say 🙂
Weight is down 3.3lbs since Monday … which is nice.

Very warm and quite windy again this morning. Achilles tendons are both playing up a bit…
I thought I’d head out at a reasonable time; it was still very warm indeed…
Ankles and knees were in shock today after getting back into running after so long, so I cut this one short at 4.km.
Weight down from earlier in the week by 0.7kg.
Six weeks since my last run due to – oh – everything and it was tough. I decided to ease myself back in tonight. Up 1.1kg since the end of July, but then I have been on holiday eating mahoosive dinners!
My first run in 12 weeks! The last run was the Milton Keynes Half Marathon on May 1st, so today was difficult to say the least.
Three medals for the price of two: MK Half-Marathon 2017, MK Rocket 5K and the 2 Day MK Challenge. Official chip time was 2:48:07. Nowhere near my PB: that’s a result of a lack of training.
Preparation for tomorrow’s MK Half Marathon.
Still hard work, but I wanted to get another 5k in before this weekend’s half-marathon. Weight loss since 10 April is 5lbs.
Back to running after almost 6 weeks’ break on a cold and windy evening, so very difficult and slow. Not exactly confidence-inspiring for the half-marathon this weekend…
